Tanner went to build a bear for his birthday. Then had ice cream at the mall. I think he liked the 69 cent ice cream cone better than the stuff dog he made or should I say Danny and I made.

Tanner got this bike for his birthday. He loves to go for bike rides. He was happy just riding around the block for the first couple of days but now he makes us chase him around the entire neighborhood. He likes to ride to the park so he can play on the toys for awhile.
Isn't he just the cutest little boy?

I have been informed by a few friends that I have not posted anything on my blog for a few weeks. Sorry...It's nice to know that people are looking though. It has been a really hectic couple of weeks and I'm lucky if I have time to check email. Danny has transfered to a new high school. Bonney Lake High School and so we have been busy getting things done for him and taking him to 2 a days for football. I keep calling them daily doubles and he gets really mad. But thats what we called them in the 80's. Haley is enrolling in the running start program and we are trying to get her settled at both the high school and at Pierce Community College. Tim and Danny went on a high adventure and I got to help get things ready for that. I had sharing time this month and well you can see I'm full of excuses. LOL Actually life is good it has just been busy but I still love this blogging thing and I will promise to post more often. Like I said I am just so happy people are checking it out and looking at my cute kids.

More Vacation July 2007

Haley on the beach with Tanner. She wasn't around to much. She drove to Eugene and stayed with her friend Rachel for a few days.
My Sister Tammy, her husband Bob and her son Jake. We have done several vacations together and they are so much fun to be with. Only problem. Their kids are all growing up and leaving. Jake will be a Junior so we are trying to really enjoy our last couple of family vacations with them.
This is what my sister did almost the entire time. I got her hooked on these Janet Evanovich books and she never put them down. Ok I have to admit I was reading them too. My friend Trina got me hooked. They are so funny you just have to see what happens next.
Danny modeling on the beach.
Danny and Jake in a Ping Pong game. The house we stayed in had a great game room with Air hockey, ping pong, foos ball and other games. Tanner loved playing ping pong and acutally got the ball over the net a few times. He is an amazing 2 year old.

Vacation July 2007

These are pictures from our vacation over the 4th of July in Lincoln City Oregon.
The weather was great. The house we rented was probably the best house we have ever rented. We had a great time and hope we can have a Family Reunion there next year.

Danny and Jake playing in the waves
Tanner loved the sand but did not have any desire to even look toward the water let alone go near it.
Lindsay had a great time getting wet once she got her swimming suit on!
This was the beach by our house. I don't know any of these people. But I wanted everyone to see how amazing the beach was.
Well I'm finally back!! I can't believe how much we depend on our computers.

I haven't posted anything for a few days. I'm having computer problems so don't give up me. I hope I'm back up and running in a few days.

Last January I turned 40.. Yikes. I hate to say that number. But anyway, my two sisters flew up to surprise me. They will never know how much that meant to me. Anyway, they spoiled me with movies, shopping dining, etc. The etc. is a surprise party. It was really neat and it was great to see everyone who came. Even with short notice. I thought it would be great to put some really great pictures of us on here but I just couldn't find to many that were on my camera so Leigh and Tammy don't be mad if you don't like the picture.
This is my sister Leigh...Buying popcorn at the movie. We saw Holiday. It was a great movie to see with my sisters. I know Leigh will hate this picture but I love it because she is always so perfect and this one I caught her off guard.

This was a picture of my sister Tammy at the Olive Garden but she made me take it off. I love ya anyway sis!

This is me and Leigh (hey that rhymes). Thankyou sisters for the surprise and the fun. You mean the world to me!
This was a card that Lindsay and I made for a boy in her class. I'm just sharing cuz I thought it turned out cute!

I took this picturout of my family room window this past spring. It was so beautiful I just had to share it.
This was Lindsay getting to March a Jr. Cheerleader in the Parade.

Haley cheering....not a great picture but I'm never ready with the camera for the good shots
Haley with Rebecca at the Daffodile Parade. The parade goes through Tacoma, Puyallup, Sumner and ends in our town...Orting.

Haley marching in the parade. She is in the middle
Grandma Baker wanted of picture of Tanner in this outfit. He was not happy about it. Look at the picture below. He was trying to hide from the camera but I finally got a picture but not without protest.

Grandma and Grandpa Baker with Tanner outside of Moe's in Florence last April
Me and Tanner las April. I can't believe how much he has grown since then.

This is another video of Lindsay's recital. I wasn't going to post it because I told Tim to leave me out of the video. Well, he was really great at leaving my face out of the video but..well you will see. I thought you all might like to laugh with me.

Danny and his date for Prom!!!
My baby boy looks good in a tux huh?

Haley and her Prom date.

She went with a friend of hers from work. He was a really nice boy
Haley's hair extensions for Prom
Danny came home from Soccer practice with a mohawk. I guess the whole varsity team did it for team bonding for the playoffs. Way to be a leader Danny!

Anyway, Tanner wanted a hawk like his brothers.
I told you I was going to brag on my blog. Danny also was voted MVP for the soccer team.
I know there is really no logic to my postings yet. Be patient. Right now I'm trying to figure everything out. Once I do I will try to blog in some kind of order. I hope I'm not boring anyone.
I thought since I'm getting into this I would post this picture of Mt. Rainer. This is the view from our neighborhood. It used to be the view from our house until the built the house behind us. Oh well. It's still pretty cool. When you drive down the main street in our town this is what you see.

Jeff and Tanner at Leigh's Cabin

This is a picture of my brother Jeff and Tanner at my sister Leigh's cabin in June..Cute huh?

July 16, 2007

I'm really excited to start this adventure in blogging. I have looked over many of your blog sights and I'm very impressed. I'm sorry I haven't posted very often but I'm not always sure what to say. I'm not really sure what to even say on my own blog. You all have so many great stories and funny things to share. I hope I can find things to share that will be of interest to all of you. Tracey you have a great opening story. I'm not sure quite where to start but I will get there and if nothing else you will see pictures of my fabulous kids. You know they are the real reason I'm doing this anyway. To Brag. Lol. I really am excited to continue to look at your blogs and to share mine.

Love,

Rox

New Blog

I thought this might be a fun way to keep in touch. It will only take a minute a couple of times a week to keep in touch this way.
